There are many reasons to switch between video sources, and Pico Macom provides the means to do this easily with simple integration into a new or existing system. At the commercial headend, the EAS-12B provides FCC emergency alert compliance simply and affordably. The program channels loop through the EAS-12B and, with a simple contact closure, all channels are replaced by the override source channel. At the customer premises, the VSS-52R is ideal for integration of up to five input components into two independent output components. All these can be dynamically switched with the VSS-52R remote control.
